Die irischen Paganmeister PRIMORDIAL müssen aufgrund technischer Probleme die Veröffentlichung ihrer ersten DVD All Empires Fall um zwei Wochen verschieben. Neue Veröffentlichungstermine sind der 12. bzw. 15 März für Europa! Das Luxuspaket wird als Doppel-DVD erscheinen und prall gefüllt sein!

Die erste DVD ist dabei das Herzstück des DVD-Sets, denn sie enthält eine vollständige PRIMORDIAL Headlinershow, welche am 24. Januar 2009 in ihrer Heimatstadt Dublin, Irland mitgeschnitten wurde. Die Show wurde mit fünf Kameras gefilmt und hat einen außergewöhnlichen Vintage look, welcher mittels harter Arbeit im Rahmen der Postproduktion bewerkstelligt wurde. Ein wahrhaft beeindruckender, kraftvoller Gig, begeisternd vom Start bis zum Ende mit einer Diehard PRIMORDIAL Fanschar, die Sänger A.A. Nemtheanga förmlich aus der Hand frisst. Dargeboten in perfekter Soundqualität, selbstverständlich ist sowohl ein Stereo als auch ein 5.1 Mix enthalten!

Die zweite Disc enthält Liveclips diverser Festivalauftritte PRIMORDIALs, namentlich dem Ragnarok Festival (Deutschland), dem Hove Festival (Norwegen) und dem Graspop Metal Meeting (Belgien), allesamt aus dem Jahre 2008. Die zweite Disc enthält darüber hinaus eine circa einstündige Banddokumentation, welche Storys aus dem Innenleben der Band erzählt und viele Bilder aus den Anfangstagen der Band enthält. Interviews mit sämtlichen Bandmitgliedern und Proberaummaterial komplettieren die zweite DVD!

Die Special Deluxe Version von All Empires Fall hat ein aufwändigeres Packaging und enthält zwei zusätzliche Audio-CDs, welche die Dublin-Show enthalten!

Sänger A.A. Nemtheanga kommentiert All Empires Fall wie folgt:

…the gods have been working hard dogging the release of our first dvd ‘All Empires Fall’ but finally we are ready to prevail. The DVD will contain our Dublin show from last year, a documentary and bonus material from recent festivals. The special edition will contain the audio discs of the Dublin show, so you can hear how some old classics are played now, some almost two decades after writing. So how does it look? The simple answer is and without exaggeration possibly one of the best Metal live shows I’ve ever seen. We filmed it on analog reels, cut it with frightening pace and mixed it up with some very unconventional camera angles. It has the feel of a classic show from the late 70s not the clean, clinical digital vacuum most modern shows are filmed in. We also invested a lot of time, money and effort so don’t expect one of those free recordings most festivals and soundstages offer. As normal we didn’t do anything conventionally so there are no boring balcony stills or side of stage montages. No overdubs, auto tuning or drop ins we are proud that ‘All Empires Fall’ shows us as we are and as a Primordial show always is. Blood and thunder and no quarter given from start to finish…
