Die schwedischen Death Metaller AEON haben die Arbeiten an ihrem neuen Album „Path Of Fire“ erfolgreich abgeschlossen! „Path Of Fire“ wurde in den Empire Studios in Östersund, Schweden im September 2009 eingespielt und von Erik Rutan in den Mana Studios in St. Petersburg, Florida im Oktober 2009 abgemischt. Einige kleinere Veränderungen wurde im Januar 2010 vorgenommen, ehe es an das Mastering ging, welches Alan Douches im West West Side Music in New York vorgenommen hat. Für das Artwork und Layout zeichnet sich Daniel Dlimi verantwortlich.
Die Band zu ihrem neuen Meisterwerk: “We are happy to announce the album is finished by now. Path of Fire is probably the most intense Aeon album up to date. And with a production that sounds more organic and “classic deathmetal rather then the nowadays typical “supermodern, compressed right-the-fuck-out of dynamics, loudness war” production…you are all in for a real treat.
